Hello Buddyfighters! As we all know by now, the COVID-19 Corona Virus has been declared as Pandemic by the World Health Organisation(WHO). So in this article, we will be giving you some advice on how card gamers can minimize the chance of getting infected.
1. Try to avoid attending your local tournaments
- Locals are usually held in card shops which are small and confined spaces and many people enter and exit them on a daily basis. Its best to avoid going to local tournaments to avoid any chance of getting infected.
2. Use playmats in public places.
- For those who play in public benches or tables, always use paper playmats to make sure your cards do not touch the table. you can then dispose of the paper playmats once you are done.
3. Use new sleeves
- Replace your sleeves if they have gotten dirty or have been used many times in different places.
4. Do not continue to play the game if you coughed or sneezed and used your hands to cover your face. Immediately wash your hands if you did so.
5. Do not meet your friends to play if you are unwell. We would also advise local shop owners to avoid hosting tournaments during this period.
6. Avoid ordering cards online. We would not know where and who might handle your package while on transit. its best to avoid ordering cards online untill its safe to do so.
7. Wear gloves when playing.
- keep a pair of gloves if you are really itching to play at your locals. This way you will minimize contact with your hands.
